The "drap damier" (checkboard fabric), which was used for the gaiters of Marseilles' fishermen and pavers, is the oldest cloth among our factory's productions. For over two centuries, following constant processes, it results from the felting of a wool fabric in the Sorgue river's water. It used to include "black" wools in its dark stripes. Today still spun, woven and fulled in our workshops, it is used to make the saddle blankets which are visible on horses throughout the Camargue. For the purpose of the creation of accessories and for the professionals, aside from the traditional brown, we created a confidential collection of colours. It is now available to our distinguished clients.
