ENSCI Three Merino Throw
The design-led and inspired throw
The result of a partnership between our Manufacture and the prestigious ENSCI – Les Ateliers Design Textile school, these Trois Mérinos throws, with their varied and distinctive textures and deep hues, embody the essence of contemporary creativity.
Crafted from a blend of exceptional Merino wools, their softness and drape, as well as their aesthetic appeal, offer you a unique sensory experience.
These collaborations on innovation in textile design with several students involved numerous stages from conception to production: mood boards, sketches, colour schemes, weaves, warping, weaving, finishing… Working from a set of specifications, the young designers created prototypes which were then produced by Brun de Vian-Tiran.
Pierre and Jean-Louis Brun, father and son at the helm of the Manufacture, initiated and oversaw this project from implementation to completion, before selecting seven designs and deciding to produce them as part of a first capsule collection, ‘ENSCI for Brun de Vian-Tiran’.
Each throw is named after its young and talented designer: Adeline, Zoé and Hanako.
