The inspired and stylish throw
They are the fruits of a partnership between our Manufacture and the prestigious school, ENSCI – Les Ateliers Design Textile. These three merinos’ throws are composed of varied and remarkable thread count; thanks to their deep shades they account for the quintessence of today’s creativity.
They have been designed with a combination of exceptional merino wools. Their softness and their drape together with their aesthetic value provide you with a unique sensorial experience.
These close collaborations around textile design innovation with different classes of students went through several steps from creation to manufacturing: mood board, drawings, colours, frameworks, warping, weaving, finishing… Starting from specifications, the young designers created prototypes that have been manufactured by Brun de Vian-Tiran. Pierre and Jean-Louis Brun, father and son at the head of the manufacture, have initiated and accompanied this project from implementation to finalisation. They have finally selected three throws and decided to launch the very first capsule collection “ENSCI for Brun de Vian-Tiran”.
Each throw is named after the first name of its young and skilful designer: Zoé, Thérèse, Hanako.
