THE ORIGINS OF THE THROW

Of Scottish origin, the throw comes from these Celtic fabrics known as tartan, a large thick fabric. Whose main function was to cover and warm. The luxury throws of Brun de Vian-Tiran are made in our manufacture of Isle sur Sorgue (Provence - France) with wool and rare hairs chosen worldwide according to their qualities and properties such as softness and strength. These exceptional materials allow us to make luxury throws and exceptional finishes.

The alpaca, cousin of the llama, produces very warm but also light fibers with a «soapy» appearance that give it an extreme softness. Brun de Vian-Tiran has chosen to complete its offer and to offer its customers very luxury plaids by selecting Baby Alpaca breedings on the highlands of Peru and Bolivia. These materials confer an exceptional delicacy on these lines of pleadings.
